Andy Delaney Combined height 12ʼ 1” [3.66] The directing partnership of Monty Whitebloom and Andy Delaney began whilst studying at the world famous Goldsmiths College, London University. Mr. Delaney was studying Film and Television. Mr. Whitebloom read English and American Literature. Their storytelling strengths span an array of disciplines, from commercial production and film to music videos, photography and artwork. They are also director/DOP’s which creates a unique and effective dynamic in the work they produce. Their directing career started at Academy films in London and Radical Media in the States. In 2000 they established a new company, Studio, which was an integrated film, photography, art and music workshop that became one of the leaders of its kind in Europe, and an incubator for their forthcoming work within a variety of different media: films, commercials, music videos, web dramas, ARG games, art and music projects and photography. They have gathered many nominations and awards for their music videos, including MTV award nominations for Seal and KT Tunstall, and Best Video of The Year for Lauryn Hill. They have also won a Grammy with Sinead Oʼ Connor and had MVPA nominations for Maroon 5, Dido, George Michael and David Gray. In commercials, they have worked non-stop with both international and stateside clients as diverse as Lincoln, Payless, AXA, Eurostar, Ford, Reebok, Subaru, and the IOC, as well as Mercedes, Lacoste, Levis, Mitsubishi and Rolling Rock. They won the Mobeus award for best brand campaign with Constellation Energy and the Grand Prix Cassie for Sunchips. They also shoot stills for commercial fashion campaigns such as Sears, Payless and Kohls. Their critically acclaimed short film, POLARBEARMAN, featuring Lee Pace was commissioned by Al Gore’s SOS Live Earth project, and was nominated at the Euro Best short film and in the Epica awards short film awards. They are currently in post-production on their debut feature film, LOOK AWAY, a modern love story starring Matthew Broderick and Chloe Sevigny for New Regency. It will be released in 2016.
